Sources claim that the ‘Lifestyle’ swinging scene is rife with experimentation of drugs and sexual openness – with high-profile tech moguls being treated like ‘rock stars’.

They told the Post: ‘On an upper level was a play space with mattresses inside and towels outside.
‘It was like going to a tech party, except that everyone took off their clothes and went upstairs for sex.
‘There is a viewpoint that the geeks who had turned into millionaires now have something open to them [opportunities for sex and drugs] in a way that it had not been before.
‘A lot of these folks were nerds. When there is money and access and power, it all goes together.’
Some of the parties are invite-only, which happen behind closed doors at lavish mansions and chateaus.

She explains in her book Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley, that groups of people lay close to each other often after taking drugs.
They then break up into smaller groups to smaller, private rooms, according to her book, which results in some of the elite ‘bragging’ about their personal and private lives.
One of the most selective parties in the tech field is known and the Bronze Party, with rules for the voyeurs watching the activities to whisper or ‘not talk at all’.
Parties are often themed, and boast that they are the ‘sexiest holiday event in the Bay Area’ with DJ’s.
They advise that attendees wear ‘seductive lingerie and clubwear’ while another suggested ‘erotic glamour’.
Exclusive Bronze Party was set up by Ben Fuller, who was once a tech entrepreneur – selling his company for ‘less than $5million’.

One San Francisco fetish club hosts parties for ‘picky techies’ who have specific expectations that need to be met before attending.
Josh Powers, who runs a club called Power Exchange, told the Post: ‘There is a public exhibition side of it.
‘Attendees may go there with another person and have other people watch them. There is a correlation between our true players and tech pushing out the culture in San Francisco.
‘We attract people from the tech world. Many of them will have you submit pictures showing what you look like and who you are. Some are status-based, aimed at high-level individuals.’

One insider claims that engineers look ‘at the number of relationships that fail and wonder how they can be optimized’ — including by having multiple sexual partners.
They added: ‘That approach is unique to Silicon Valley: If something fails X amount of times, let’s optimize it by doing Y.
‘There is an element of people applying a data-driven approach to sexual relationships. It’s not like they are partying continually.
‘They microdose with mushrooms and ketamine and go on ayahuasca retreats. It’s an intellectual approach to hard partying.

‘They’re still inventing the future. These people have a propensity for risk. Burning Man is part of the culture.
‘You could be walking around naked, and run into a coworker who is naked and it would not be a big deal. A lot of people who do well in Silicon Valley experiment with all kinds of things.’
Another author opened up the world of secret sex parties, writing that one organizer bragged of having a key member of the iPhone development team in attendance.
Laurie Seagall wrote in her book Special Characters: My Adventures with Tech’s Titans and Misfits that one man ‘who created our check-in software basically built Oracle.’
The insider also claims that sex parties also take place in smaller homes, with one even having porn in ‘monitors on the hallway.’
Speaking to the Post they said: ‘It was not a billionaire’s mansion. It was a mediocre home. It felt a little gross, kind of sketch. It was totally women and men from Silicon Valley.’
