THE ENDLESS RUN-AWAY-ELECTRONICS TESLA CRASHES ARE COVERED UP BECAUSE MUSK BRIBES SENATORS

Shocking moment Tesla with man, 90, and woman, 82, on board in Hawaiian fancy dress hits the curb and goes airborne before crashing into a garage in California

Three elderly passengers were injured after their Tesla smashed into the garage of a home in Los Angeles’ West Hills neighborhood Saturday evening.

Shocking video shows the moment a Tesla driver lost control of his vehicle and smashed directly into the garage of a Southern California home.

The incident happened Saturday around 7pm in West Hills – located northwest of Los Angeles – and three passengers dressed in Hawaiian attire were hurt.

Police say the three occupants were all elderly and included a 90-year-old man, an 82-year-old woman, and another woman whose age was not released.

The home’s security camera footage captured the moment the Tesla swerved quickly before jumping the curve and hitting a vehicle in the driveway of the home.

It’s unclear whether the driver is to blame or if the vehicle was in self-driving mode.

The crash happened at a home in the 7000 block of Royer Avenue located just across from West Hills Hospital.

In the video, first shared by Traffic News Los Angeles (TNLA), the Tesla appears to traveling down the street on the right side of the road before taking a sharp left turn.

After hitting the curb, the vehicle is briefly airborne before smashing into the right side of a van parked in the home’s driveway.

The van’s passenger side mirror is completely taken off and flies through the air as the Tesla continues forward toward the garage door.

Another vehicle parked in front of the van is then side-swept by the flying Tesla just before the car comes to a rest in in the garage.

After the crash, TNLA captured footage of first responders wheeling and walking the passengers away from the vehicle and toward the hospital.

The individuals appeared to be dressed in Hawaiian themed clothing and accessories but it is unclear where they were headed at the time of the crash.

Police did not indicate if drugs or alcohol appear to be a factor.

The conditions of the three passengers are unknown. No one else was injured.

The latest Tesla crash comes days after five police officers in Texas filed a lawsuit against the Elon Musk-owned company over an incident involving a Model X car.

The driver of the car was using the autopilot feature and was traveling at 54 miles per hour when it struck the group during a traffic stop on February 27, 2021.

The vehicle allegedly gave the impaired driver 150 warnings to take control of the vehicle over a time span of 34 minutes leading up to the collision.

Footage obtained by the WSJ shows the dramatic footage of the car driving right into the rear of a police vehicle.

All five officers who had been on the scene are now suing the car company after being injured as a result of the crash.

Cybertruck Already Found Broken Down and Abandoned on Side of Road

Go For Broke

A Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted abandoned and apparently broken down on the side of the interstate near Silicon Valley — and we’ve got a lot of questions about what’s going on.

As Electrek reports, a reader saw someone he presumed to be a Tesla worker poking around under the hood of a still-unreleased Cybertruck prototype off the highway in Los Altos Hills, a small town near the powerhouse tech cities of Palo Alto and Mountain View.

The reader turned around to get a better look and said that once he returned to the stalled truck, it had been abandoned and covered with an unmarked tarp — a strange turn of events that allowed the reader to get close-up photos of the Cybertruck, including its undercarriage and suspension, the latter of which has apparently never before been photographed.

Wreck Room

Naturally, this roadside Cybertruck sighting raises more questions than it answers, and it’s unlikely we or anyone else will get satisfying answers any time soon —though we did reach out to Tesla anyway — because the Elon Musk-owned company infamously shuttered its press office back in 2020.

In its post, Electrek noted that it’s not uncommon for prototypes to break down during testing, and that in fact, pushing these test vehicles to break down in order to diagnose problems is the point of stress-testing them in the first place.

But as commenters noted on the r/RealTesla subreddit, the Cybertruck being broken down isn’t its biggest issue.

As more than one user noted, it’s strange that the person presumed to be a Tesla employee left the Cybertruck prototype alone on the side of the interstate without waiting nearby — a seeming abandonment that allowed an Electrek contributor to get previously-unavailable photos of the unreleased vehicle’s inner workings.

Whether leaving broken-down prototypes on the side of public highways is part of Tesla’s employee protocol is anyone’s guess — as are any implications for the Cybtertruck’s purported release date at the end of Q3, which is coming up next month.

  1. 4 days agoThe latest crash, which occurred in July, brings to 35 the number of Tesla crashes under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration since June of 2016. In all the cases, the agency suspects the Teslas were operating on a partially automated driving system such as Autopilot. At least 17 people have died.
