NEW Facebook tycoon Mark Zuckerberg has spent $43 million on private security over the past three years whilst simultaneously donating millions to causes that want to ‘defund the police’. Since 2020, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Zuckerberg’s family-run foundation, has donated $3 million to PolicyLink, the organization behind DefundPolice.org, the New York Post reported. Meta – the Facebook parent company – has also increased its spending on Zuckerberg’s security to $14 million in 2023, up from $10 million over the last several years, according to a company filing.
